Café Schee

Café Schee is run by amazing people. We are always treated so kindly. This is our new go-to-place to have a chat between family and friends. Coffee is great, toasts are nice (tried them all! Eggs, avocado, salmon :) ) and the banana bread… WOW!

Super cozy neighbourhood cafe! Loved their deep purple coloured Ube cheesecake, it was so delicious! The staff is very kind and warm, the ambience is beautiful, table tops with cute tulips and nice plants. I highly recommend this sweet cafe in Nordend!

Small cafe with extensive brunch menu. Coffee was just ok not exceptional but the owner was super kind. Will come back!

It is really hard to find those asian style desserts in frankfurt. I'm glad I finally found some ube dessert. The color is so strong, but there wasn't that much ube flavor. Also, it was a bit too salty as a cheesecake. I think it would've tasted better if it was a flan-type filling pastry. The cafe itself is a little tiny but cute, and the service was great as well.

Very warm and welcoming place with a nice calm atmosphere. I just had a fresh mint tea as I wasn't feeling well and sat outside in the sun. The prices are the same as other places and there seems to be a nice selection of food, snacks and coffees but I didn't try so can't be 100% sure about everything.

Honestly I didn't put review here so far because it was my secret hidden gem—and they are closing now it was not a plan to find this place and now it became my #1 café in Ffm. It was the only place which had a cozy atmosphere, nice music, hygiene, food with love, reasonable price. You know, solo players like me, it's super hard to find such a café that can be relaxed with a good vibe. Thank you for all your work, and hope to see you again! Fyi: they are closing on 27th April

They welcomed me with water, unasked for. What a pure way of saying welcome to the guests. Isn’t it strange that in most places we have to order it, pay for it, and feel like we’re asking for something extraordinary? Schee reminds us that water is a human right. A small gesture, but it speaks loudly. I ordered my usual first-time test: banana bread and a flat white. I believe the basics can tell you everything about a café. The flat white was spot on — the kind that takes me back to my Budapest days, when every new wave café seemed to have perfected this balance. The banana bread? Rich with banana, perfect in texture. It tasted homemade, likely baked in small batches. It’s been a long time since I’ve had one this balanced and honest. All I can say… wow, Schee. Schee was beautiful. Schee was welcoming. Schee was everything you wish for Germany to have.
